Direct-Fired Air Heaters Apply Heat Directly to the Product Air Stream.

Stelter & Brinck designs and manufactures 3 models of oil‑fired or gas‑fired direct process air heaters:

  • Packaged - Completely packaged systems
  • Duct - Designed to fit in the process duct work
  • Gun Style - Ideal larger mass flows, higher temperatures, fuel oil operation

Each direct fired heater can be designed to be a low-emissions model (some available in ultra low NOx) and are used when a hot air source is needed for applications that are not sensitive to the by-products of combustion. Applications include drying, heat treating, sand or clay processing, printing or coating, cement production, composite curing, fertilizer production, ect. Regardless of the application, we have a direct-fired air heater to fit your process needs.
